Ifuba has committed itself to an ongoing corporate social responsibility programme.In the past year we have undertaken and successfully completed the following programmes:

Siyathuthuka Creche and Pre-School
A part of the Bhambayi Development Project on the outskirts of KwaMashu. (Forum run under the auspices of St Martin’s Church ) , Ifuba helped with the re-flooring of 3 classrooms. The classrooms are used by 120 plus children from the Bhambayi settlement, aged 0 – 2.5 years .The new flooring has ensured a far safer and more hygienic environment in which the children can sleep, eat and play.

Adult nappies were also sponsored for the aged and HIV/AIDS sufferers in the surrounding Bhambayi community. Positive feedback on this initiative from the community leaders has been that the donation of these nappies has greatly encouraged the local community to get involved in helping support the bed¬ridden.

Another motivating initiative was the donation of soccer balls to the New Orleans Soccer Club, a community based soccer club in the Newlands area of KZN that seeks to uplift the local youngsters through soccer programmes.
